  2. Here's some code you can add to the board style sheet to reduce the height of posts a bit: /* reduce height of posts */ .ip {display: none;} .user-avatar img {width: 75px; height: 75px;} td.poster-detail, td.post-content {padding-top: 0;}
  3. Do you mean shrink down the avatars so the entire post isn't as tall? By the way, you could also get rid of avatars entirely...
  4. What specifically is too big? Do you mean too wide or too tall? The size of avatars can be reduced in your CSS. (CSS overides image height and width in the HTML unless there's an inline CSS style for those which there isn't on Yuku.) So if you like I can help you with that. Remember though that if you reduce image sizes using CSS then the image quality will suffer (the avatars will look more "pixelly" and less smooth).
  5. Yuku wasn't really designed to be a "dating" type site. A few things related to that were just added as options to users. We've already been taking some of that out of user profiles though. (We took out marital status awhile ago.)
  6. BTW, if you want to center the board just look for this code in your CSS: #wrapper { background-color: #FFF; width: 95%; border: 5px solid #000; font-size: 1em; margin-left: 8px; } Replace the line of code highlighted in yellow with: margin: auto;
  7. I originally used ems for the font sizes in order to allow IE users to be able to re-size the fonts in their browsers if they wished. Some of your members may have inadvertently set the default font size in their browser to be either larger or smaller though so that would account for why some people were saying fonts were too big while others were saying they were too small. It looks like you've added some new font sizes in points which can be unpredictable since points are really meant for print. Using pixels for font sizes is the easiest to work with and most predictable since you can set the sizes exactly and they will look the same in all browsers. The main draw back to using pixels is that IE users won't be able to resize the fonts then if they want to.
  8. In the original version I did the header color matched the post color. Someone edited it to add that dark blue color.
  9. Thanks for the welcome http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif. I'm not sure exactly what you mean for the CSS? Do you mean you want to add your own personal style sheet to your browser to force it to use that? I haven't really worked with that but I believe pretty much all browsers allow you to do that.
  10. You might want to edit your baseball graphic to fill it with white so background colors don't show through.
  11. Just a word of advice to the person(s) adjusting the style sheet, it's best not to use point sizes for on-screen fonts. Points are meant for print. Use ems if you want IE users to be able to resize fonts. Use pixels if you want to ensure that everyone sees the same font size no matter what browser they are using. (You could use percentages instead too but those are tricky to work with.)
  12. By the way I coded the Yuku version of your skin to allow you to change the width very easily if you wish. Just look for this in your CSS: #wrapper { background-color: #FFF; width: 750px; Just edit that width and everything will adjust automatically. You can use a percentage as well such as 85% or whatever.
  13. The original ezboard design was narrow.
  14. Which fonts look large? I created the CSS version of your skin so let me know and I can adjust them.
  15. Check to see that you didn't increase the font size in your browser. What browser are you using?
