hey guys, I don't really contribute very much anymore, but a sincere thank you to everyone involved in the Link Report. It is much appreciated and I look forward to it every single morning. It must be an incredible amount of work.

Thanks Patrick, you've made he draft enjoyable for me, something I never thought possible. Its amazing to see guys that I saw drafted like Fielder, Weeks, Braun, Hardy, and Gwynn work there way steadily to the minors and make all those "dream lineups" I was putting together in 2003 a reality. Ok maybe my rotation looked like Jones, Parra, Neugebauer, Sheets and Luis Martinez, but lets not dwell on that. Here's to another draft that produces at least one Major League All Star Talent.

Im feeling a big night out of Bill E Hall tonight too. 2b, HR, 2 runs, and RBIs. Also Braun will go deep and the Brewers will win 6-3. Last night RISP was just awful and without looking at the stats it seems like the running theme of 2007. Hopefully those hits will start coming in the 2nd half of the season.

I don't think I've seen Salome in the lineup for the last 3 games. Any answers on this guys??
  6. BrewCrewInMN
Let the Salome reign continue...by far my favorite prospect

Is there anything Yo can't do? Two run homer and a "great" pitching performance so far.

Rotoworld writer Nate Stephens on Will Inman and his progress so far. Also hints at where he will spend time this year and his future as a top 10 pitching prospect in the game in 2008. www.rotoworld.com/content/features/column.aspx?sport=MLB&columnid=3&articleid=28100

Was looking at this stuff because I went to highschool with Mike Goetz and ran track with him, when I realized a kid I used to be friends with and played little league with Joe Nowicki, was drafted also by the Orioles. I was wondering if there is a site that has the players over the last couple years that were drafted with Wisconsin ties.

Being a MN transport, I finally sprung for mlb.tv and now am wishing I had it the whole year. Great feature on the website and the picture is fantastic. Great job so far getting those three in boys, lets tack on some more. Prince is very impressive with the bat and to reiterate, that Weeks bat is lightning quick and nice to see him get that steal.

I see Phelps up in he pen...with Sheets supposedly dealing and his pitch count only at 89, is this just a precaution in case they have to pinch hit for him in 2 batters? Seems like he should stay in the game

BEE-A-UTIFUL WAY TO BE CREW. wow we really needed that win to start off the homestand on a good note. Nice start by Dougie, Branyan does a little yardwork, and Adams closes her out. This just made my day.

I thought it was Obie coming in the game, but now cbs.sportsline is showing Wise, is this true?
  18. BrewCrewInMN
Walkerbay!!!! nice discipline out of him today. Anybody have anything to say about the distance of that second branyan job? Comparable to the first?
  19. BrewCrewInMN
Mussell!!! I now kneel at the church of 3TO.
  20. BrewCrewInMN
i hate to brag but....reference page 1 for me calling the Branyan ya-ya....I hear it was a massive shot too...gotta be pandemonium at Miller.

The enormous feeling of jealousy has just set in as I will miss my 5th straight opening day becuase of living in the Cities. Hope everyone has a great time there and Go Crew! Predictions: Davis goes 6 1/3 4 hits, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K's Branyan goes ya-ya JJ goes 2-4 with a double and a RBI Brewers win 5-2
  22. BrewCrewInMN
Stars lose 3-0...0-4 to open the season...unbelievable offensive woes for our minor leaguers so far. Bot of 7, Zephyrs up on the Sounds, 3-2
  23. BrewCrewInMN
    capuanos gotta be done huh?

Mass I need to echo the above comments and really appreciate the work you, and your staff and contributors do on this link report and the entire site. The first thing I do every morning is come in, print the LR off, and head to the john for a half hour of catching up on my minor leaguers. My daily routine has definitely suffered over the offseason. Capellan, Eveland, Pena, and Rogers--my Lord---the LR is definitely back.

Time for Dougie to exit stage left...thanks for the great quality start....now lets go bullpen and pull this out out for DD!
