Helena wins first game of doubleheader 4-0....

Not a good night for Helena, they are down 19-3 after 6 innings

Since Helena is the only one to play Monday, I thought I would throw this out. I talked to the General Manager about having internet broadcasts instead of listening to the visitor's announcer. He said the cost was way to much because they were a small time baseball market. He was very nice and listened to my complaint and told me it would be in the thousands to try and do this. I also told him that their website was very weak and he said he would look into it. All in all very good baseball for the week I was there. I did talk up the brewerfan.net to a lot of Helena fans.

Josh Baker started for Helena, gave up 2 2 run homers score is now Missoula 5 Helena 3.... Mannon three run homer

Unoffically right now Opdyke and Morrison will start out in Arizona. No injuries.

I am going to double check on this but I think the third round pick Josh Wahpepah is now at Helena. Will check this out for sure.

I believe Grant Richardson has signed from Washington State. He is in Helena right now.

I believe on day 2 you are looking at a 40-45 pitches on the bullpen session. My comment on what I have seen and heard is a lot of the pitchers are not ready to go when they get to camp. You have to come to spring training in shape and I think a lot are hurting and not saying anything.

Just thought I would update a little info I have. Robbie Wooley pitched 5 innings last night and got his first win. He gave up 1 run and the young Brewers held on to a 8-6 victory. Now what everyone wants to know. Rickie Weeks did not play last night. He went thru the workouts and is expected to play soon.

So far I like what I see. Lot of information. I am planning on making a trip to Miller Park in September. I have heard it is a beautiful ball park.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif
