The other finalist for the job is Jeff Munn. I am a broadcast journalism student at ASU and I have gotten to know Jeff pretty well. He does play by play for ASU' Women's Basketball and does an outstanding job. I am the beat writer for ASU women and he does a great job with that program. He also does stuff for the DBacks and does about 35 play by play games per year.

Well supposedly the offers were similar from both clubs and Powell was leaning towards staying here, but then the Braves upped the offer and he took it. The delay is probably either that the Braves want to let Jim get things settled before announcing it, he may be having second thoughts or the Brewers want to wait to find a replacement before its public.

Jim lives in the area and coaches his daughter's basketball team for the youth program in my district...the latest I heard is that he took the offer.

Talked to Jim...he is gone to Atlanta.

Coop is the interim manager in Houston. I'm happy for Cecil to get the chance.

Kind of surprising to me....Wick hasn't pitched terrible, but nothing great. 3.92 ERA Report: Braves cut Wickman Any takers on the UW-Whitewater grad?

.200 with the Mets .250 with the Braves .221 overall No Thanks....I'd let Dillion have a shot there first, and you could always play Graffanino there if need be

Counsell coming through with a big hit...wow Thompson already at almost 50 pitches, not good for them, how much they used the 'pen yesterday and with the DH today.

What was also good about this game is Kolb held the lead unlike dejean
