  1. Huntsville has stranded 15 over the course of the game, I think I heard. Also, the Stars have been given 10 walks, and 12 total free base runners. Six errors committed by the opposition (If I heard correctly). Saenz seemed to dominate. Struck out 4 of 6 that he faced, I believe.
  2. Not to mention that the lineup is starting to look more and more like that of a AAA team, no offense to the players. Is there a reason that Helms isn't batting behind Sexson? Bill Hall looked terrible at the plate tonight, at least during the at bat I watched.

  4. Yost is developing an unhealhty obsession with Vizcaino.

  6. I find it distressing that Yost no longer goes to Kieschnick (sp?) for pinch hitting purposes. OPS of 1.002, has homered once in every eleven at bats, and struck out roughly once every six at bats. Is there any reason why he picked Vander Wal over Kieschnick, both being left handed batters?
  7. First of all, I hope the Brewers don't play this sloppy tommorrow, lest their streak come to an end. Secondly, there is no way Yost will put Ginter in left if Jenkins does indeed have a fractured thumb.

  9. If I'm not mistaken (which I might be) his only starts have come against the Pirates and the Reds, so it may be a little too early to declare him the second starter. I do agree though, that he has been outstanding so far.
  10. Now if only Yost will replace Clayton with Bill Hall...
  11. It seems as Yost has some sort of personal grudge against Kinney, as I remember a quote he gave that criticized him for not being able to put it all together. Granted, Kinney does have the stuff to perform at a higher level than he is currently pitching at, but this is coming from a guy that let Rusch pitch until forever, giving him encouragement each step of the way. Blatant favoritism. He seems to have a very short leash when concerning Kinney. Also, you would think "battlers" would be able to learn how to run the base paths. If nothing else, Yost should be able to teach them that.
  12. He just got promoted again, I believe. Something to do with the roster opening up to 24 slots.
  13. What are the chances that the Brewers allowed DeJean to pitch the final two innings to let potential trade partners get a final glimpse at him before the deadline?
  14. Amen Geno. If you ask JP he'd go on one of his baseball economics ******** tangents and imply the only reason the Mets are better than the Brewers is because of a bigger bankroll. JP is too busy being a company tool and attacking other teams so that Brewer fans don't pick up on FACTS like the ones you just quoted Geno. Yeah, either that or he's just having a good time and letting his audience (brewer's fans) have fun at another team's expense.
  15. When you guys are watching the game on TV do you usually mute the sound and turn the radio on?
  16. Wes Helms has to take some of the blame in this one.
  17. Did Schroeder make mention of some sort of an announcement taking place tommorrow? I caught the tail end of it but I couldn't put together if it was anything serious or if that is indeed what they said. It happened right after they were talking about people the Brewers would be willing to part with, so it peaked my interest. Probably nothing at all though...
