    Beloit still had a good year. It's a shame that they lost and got swept out of the championship series but in terms of player development, I think the Beloit team gives Brewer fans a reason to smile about the future. That's really what the minor leagues are about. Championships are nice, but I'd rather have a few really good prospects.

    Yet another cost cutting move the Brewers are oh-so famous for. This is really getting pathetic - cut out instructional league etc. This franchise will take any step to cut costs. Bud and Wendy are pathetic.

    What is so bad about Lansing's offense? They have a .253 team average. The Snappers are only at .260. I'd say that's a pretty even match. They do have some good pitchers but a lot are old for the league or overrated (Andy Sisco.) I think Beloit wins.
