    i have another question, and Im being serious here. Im wondering what the percentage of high school pitchers is that throw curves and sliders and especially spiltters when they are growing up and when do they start with these pitches. I grew up a pitcher and started throwing curves and splitters by the time I was 13 and now can barely lift a baseball let alone throw one as a result. I have this feeling that kids these days are starting to throw these pitches at maybe too young of an age and when they start getting a bit older, like around 20, its coming back to hurt them.

    Well I guess he should go by whatever he wants. Most people under 30 (and probably most from 30-40) don't have a clue who Captain Lou is so I can understand the lack of connection. Sweet Lou? yawn. -------- Hey, IM 27 and know captain lou albano. Mr rubberband face. if a guy wants to be called sweet lou, then call him that, dont call him soemthing else just cause YOU like it better, its not YOUR nickname. And until one of you actually become friends and hang out with Lou, you dont ahve the right to call him whatever you want. Just deal with it. Frankly who cares, he'll probably tear his shoulder and never hit 300 again someday soon and we will all forget about him soon enough.

    kat, his teammates where he went to college called him that, and then last year they started to call him that at Helena,so he didnt choose the name, he was given the name because of his stroke.

    any word on the first Huntsville game? Nowhere does it say they are actually making a game up, just that their regular game is tonight at 6. Mass, you sure theyre making a game up today and from when was it?
