  1. mtrebs, I apologize for not having XXLs this time ... because it was a short run, I only did S-XL. I'll post again here if we end up printing more. thanks, Z.B. Tararrel
  2. Wanted to pass along word of two new shirts from the Tararrel & Sons camp in Madison. (It's not really a camp, I guess, it's just me and a Web site: Tararrel.com) First one is an ode to my favorite pregame ritual from the County Stadium days: the fly-over of the Heartbreakers plane. http://www.tararrel.com/images/bighearts2.jpg Image of it being worn: http://www.tararrel.com/images/bighearts1.jpg Second one is an ode to the first jerseys of the navy-and-gold era, which debuted in '94. It's an authentic re-creation of the font/jersey front: http://www.tararrel.com/images/bigt951.jpg I only made 75 of each -- a small run -- and they're now available online. Thanks for reading, everyone, and enjoy ...
  3. Actually ... research reveals the bar was on 25th and Becher, not 25th and Rogers. Just found this: http://www.panoramio.com/photo/10613236
  4. The Stormin' and Vuke's logo is the authentic one from their old ads ... and MickeyDavis is right, it was on the south side. The design on the back is one we made, and hopefully looks as 87-ish as possible. 87 was a solid year.
  5. If you turn up the love too high, the ink gets a bit too glossy, so it's just a moderate amount of love. Kudos on your skyline shirt that just came out, btw.
  6. Three new, Summer 2009 models up at Tararrel.com. Pretty excited about these, and wanted to share them with the BF community: The Tararrel '87 (in the authentic '87 road font, on a super-soft heathered gym tee from Alternative Apparel): http://www.tararrel.com/images/tararrel2_a.jpg Hebrewers (in the authentic '71 road font -- Seattle Pilots-esque -- on another heathered Alternative Apparel): http://www.tararrel.com/images/hebrewers_a.jpg Stormin' and Vuke's (authentic logo, plus back-of-tee art, on American Apparel): http://www.tararrel.com/images/sv_a.jpg http://www.tararrel.com/images/sv_b.jpg Hope you like 'em. All designed and printed in Madison, with love. Thanks for reading.
  7. Series: thanks for the kind words. Sporting them at road games is very much encouraged. I plan to rock them in Philly in September ...
  8. Hope this is OK to post here. You go to SI.com for a pic of Erin Andrews ... and you also find a link to a Rob Deer tee and two others. I'm excited because ... well, I helped work on them with a friend from Madison. We put up the site last week, and it's called Tararrel & Sons. We're pretty psyched about it (and also really jacked about the mention on SI). Since I've seen a few shirts pimped on this board, I figure it's OK to post the pictures as a semi-announcement. I got my Tararrel hot off the press and excitedly wore it to Miller Park before the All-Star break. We put a lot of time into these, and printed 'em up on good American Apparel tees, so check 'em out if you can, and rock them at tailgates during the stretch run ... Thanks!
