Another LH who will be on the shelf this year due to TJ surgery, but has shown promise is Bobby Bramhall. Led Florida State league in ERA in 08, and led Huntsville in K's last season even with elbow difficulties. Following his progress in the system so far, look forward to his return next season.

Watching Stern while he was here in Huntsville this season, he is very quick on the bases and that is a plus. He didn't go and get balls to take away big hits as a CF. Seemed to get poor jumps and reads on balls.

Agree with the Fred Dabney assessment. He has the personality to challenge these guys and push them to their best. At the same time, he is aware of the goal of their development. I have been very impressed with his approach to this.

I noticed that Bobby Bramhall struck out 6 in his 2 innings of relief last night.

Bobby Bramhall will finish the season as the statistical ERA leader of the Florida State League.

Bobby Bramhall is the league leader in ERA for the Florida State League. Wow!!
