  1. I love this show! Oddly enough, it makes me think of Turnbow. I don't know that DBow is a prick, but he is definitely a wild and super-powerful pitcher who is now most likely done with his career. (Edit: "pr*ck." Please don't circumvent the cuss filter. However, in this case, "prick" is OK. --1992)
  2. I ended up getting an autographed D. Miller bobble. I think it is pretty rare. I don't even see it on the "blue book" list. I am okay with kendall. He is a solid catcher.
  3. All I know is that I watched too many games last season where the 5th or 6th inning came around, Bush was in the 90 pitch range, and started falling apart. At this point Ned should have yanked him but didn't, and he ended up giving up multiple runs and blowing games.
  4. Here is how I think it will play out based of the past. 1. Gallardo (clearly the best pitcher) 2. Parra (lots of potential) 3. Suppan (this has been his spot for years) 4. Looper (squeezes in here to push the rest of the order down) 5. Bush (WAYYY overrated. After 90 pitches he is garbage, and besides the postseason, he has been a joke. I am fine with him here until he falls apart, like he always does). I think Bush and Weeks are the biggest holes in the 09 squad right now, until gallardo gets hurt again. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  5. As others have said, the WS won't ever be as big as the SB because you have to market up to 7 games vs 1. Plus, because football has such a short.concise season (21 games vs 180+), there is a higher percentage of people watching because there aren't as many games. I can catch a baseball game just about any day during the summer, but I know I have to wait until Sunday to watch football. I think a salary cap would help improve ratings though, since people are tired of the yanks/cubs/sox being so much more overpowered than teams like milwaukee.
  6. I want a guy who can bat around 300, have a higher OBP, and have a lot of speed since these are going to be the guys who will have more opportunities to be on base than people further down the lineup. Personally, Weeks has been a disappointment and although Hart is streaky, he was very solid when he was consistently leading off a few years ago. I would like to see him back in that spot.
  7. yeah, the braun one shows him doing the fist pump. It is pretty cool. The sausages were Polish last year, chorizo before that, and hot dog on july 4 2006. It will be Italian next year. The brat is really the only bobble I am excited about (I also sport a retro striped brat jersey since he won't be traded anytime soon http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif, but I will be at all of the games!
  8. When I was picking games for my 20 game pack they told me the giveaway dates, but not the giveaways. I was just curious. Thanks!
  9. I am not sure if this is the right forum for this, but has anyone seen an announcement of what the bobbles will be for 09? I know the dates of the giveaways, but I have not seen name announcements. (I am hoping for the brat this year!) thanks!
