  1. Was that Larry Fitzgerald who was at the game today sitting down by the Brewer dugout? If so, anyone know the reason for him being there?
  2. Does anyone know the name of the song they play before the Brewers take the field in the top of the 1st? I think it has the word invincible in it.
  3. Rock and BA sure made it seem as if Counsell was out at home by about 10 feet. Obviously, the ball beat him but in my opinion it almost looked as if Counsell got under the tag. I was kinda suprised Counsell didn't make the argument. Just goes to show that if the ball beats you your going to be called out no matter what. Even if the umpires will disagree all day about that thinking. Just seeing if anyone else thought he might of gotten under the tag.

  5. Just seeing if anyone went to the Timberrattlers game last night to see Molitor. If so, how was it?
  6. Haven't seen him in his seats for the past week.
  7. Heading to Wrigley tomorrow for the game. Never had to park there so wondering what the best, easiest place(s) would be, thanks?
  8. Big Bang, It's a piano bar that is a blast. The Bowling Hall of Fame is right across the road from Busch so if your looking to bowl a couple of bowls you would want to head there. Taking a tour of Busch Stadium or Budweiser is always fun. There's a couple of bars right around the stadium that are always a good time. The one I would recommend is Al Hrabosky's Saloon always filled with a lot of baseball fans. If your looking for a good steak I would say Shannon's Steak right downtown...
  9. Where can I go to listen to the game on the internet, thanks?
  10. Joe Mauer has a contract with Tristar and he can't sign sweetspot. But, if you go to TwinsFest he is happy to sign anything you may have without a personalization. So, Braun could of very well signed without personalization if he wanted to. I just go back if your willing to pay him between $100-150 and he collects then he is happy to sign. I love it that his autograph company will have him sign something and then put it on ebay for $400 and people complain about autograph hounds.
  11. I love bucknuts how you throw everyone who collects memorbilia into the same pool. Sorry to disappoint you but there are diehard Brewer, Braun fans out there who go to these autograph sessions because they have special items they want signed. Like Dmiles said how goofy would it look to have my name on a Braun jersey. The Brewers did do something wrong in not advertising this beforehand. If they had put restrictions on autographs in the past at these Fan Fests fine but to just change something because you want to and not inform people of this was not right. The Brewer organization displayed poor judgement in not advertising this!!
  12. What did I say to insult him. Just stating facts
  13. As a paying customer I should know what I am getting for my money. Sorry, but I don't recall Braun walking down the line at 6 am informing everyone that he would be personalizing everything
  14. Once he starts charging for his name then he gives up the right. I recall him saying when he signed his contract, "There aren't many things I can't buy with 48 million." Then he should start buying all of his memorbilia if he so worried about it.
  15. I was planning on having him sign a Ryan Braun NL ROY bat and his Miami jersey. But had to settle for an 8 X 10 picture because there was no way I was having my name put on these items that would of looked terrible. I plan on contacting the Brewers and letting them know my disgust and there poor communication with the fans on a supposed "Fan Fest." Does this mean he will not be signing at any ballparks anymore because he is worried about someone turning around and selling it but it's fine if you pay him $150 then he doesn't care what you do with it. He is making 48 million plus endorsements, other contracts and he is worried about someone making a couple of bucks of him if they choose to.
  16. But he can make money of us by making us pay $150 for his autograph. When you start charging money for something the person paying the money has the right to choose how they want their product and not be told what can and can not be put on the autograph.
  17. I was very disappointed in the Brewers organization for requiring Ryan Braun to personalize everything. When asking the ladies working the front of the line I never got a really good explanation. If they do this so people can't resell them fine you need to post this on the Brewer "On Deck" ads on their website, Journal newspaper. If I'm paying $15 to get in and another $25 for his autograph I don't want to be told what can and can not be on my item. I came to this event and waited in line for 4 hours and would of stood outside in the below zero temperature if I had to just for a Braun signature. To know nothing of this personalization until I'm already in the line and have my voucher was very disappointing, upsetting. With Ryan Braun being your biggest star and figuring the majority of people standing in his line have something special they want signed (bat, jersey) is terrible to require a personalization. I don't want my name on a Ryan Braun bat or jersey. If people are willing to pay $25 which goes to charity and this "Brewer On Deck" is for the fans why do the Brewers care what you do with it after. Also, if I go to Twins Fest there there is no personalization for Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau who are just as big of stars as Braun is. Though, if I'm willing to pay $150 which Ryan Braun pockets then its ok to not have it personalized, just ridiculous. What's the difference? So last year there was no fee, no personalization but this year you pay $40 and it has to be personalized, why the change? If your going to have stipulations for his autograph then you can not charge and you need to post this in your advertisements so people know and not have it some big surprise after standing in line for 4-5 hours!!!
