I heard this also. I'm not quite able to determine his parameters for sweetspoting a ball. All I know is that we left Brewers on Deck with one from Uecker and a lot of unhappy people did not....so maybe with Uecker it's good to be a nice girl-fan alone in a line... I also know a guy who got one during spring training while Uecker was going back to his car. Supposedly Uecker looked around first to see if there was anyone else around and did it very reluctantly and was not all that pleasant about it! Yikes!

In hearing about prospect Taylor Green's injury today, I was reminded about Mat Gamel's injury and his chances of making the team out of spring training. Does anyone know his status? I thought tendonitis was a quick fix with rest and building the muscle around the tendon. Did Gamel end up playing any winter ball at all? I was under the impression that his improvement this past year on defense was due to his hard work in the off season and Don Money. Why wouldn't he have played winter ball?
