  1. Should have double switched, estrada in to yuni's spot with counsell in at short
  2. It was getting to the point I was hoping Macha would come storming out and get himself thrown out of the game, not like him at all, but I think it would have helped Yo.
  3. It looked to me that if he was going to make a play on it he might have to dive, and if it got by him that would have been two runs, instead of one. Would seem like an alright play after scoring four in the first.
  4. Perfect time for a Brewers break, late night games on the west coast
  5. It almost looked like Edmonds didn't know there was a runner on there
  6. That would be a really fun inning to watch, minimum of 13 runs.
  7. Can home plate umps stop calling check swing's, they have the worst angle of any umpire on the field, not that they aren't right, or the ump may not have been right in this case.
  8. I wish Gallardo was up next rather than Zaun Edit: Consider my words eaten
  9. I don't think I've ever seen a catcher make that bad a play trying to get someone at the plate, he had a long time to set himself up too.
  10. Zaun, yikes those aren't even close for anyone who is listening
  11. Game isn't on 680 for directv, but it looks like they moved it to 732, which is normally an extra innings channel
  12. As soon as I heard Howard was signed I thought it put Prince right out of the Brewers' range. I think Boras is going to be pounding the table on the 8yr 200mil figure he put out there now, and will use this Howard deal to show that he's not asking too much ($25mil per/yr, Prince is younger). Prince probably won't get that deal, but I think it's almost guaranteed that they wait for free agency now. At that point someone will almost certainly out bid the Brewers, so trading seems the only option left.
  13. Hope that was it for Yo, bullpen should be pretty fresh
  14. I'm not watching the game, but gameday had the last pitch a few inches off the plate in that at bat
  15. And if Parra wanted to drop out of the worst 100 ever his Babip needs to go down 24 points from the .347 at the start of the day
  16. So I had to go look at this list, of the 13 pitchers that are worse than Parra in this regard, no less than 10 retired before the year 1900. The other three have played most of their career in this century, and one of them is former Brewer Dana Eveland
  17. That should probably be Parra's last inning, he didn't do too well the third time through the order, I don't think I even want to see the start of the fourth. Not to mention he threw over 30 pitches that inning
