  1. This tournament should also build up a lot of excitement for the 2012 Euros. While not a worldwide event, it should warrant worldwide attention, and the Spaniards will be looking to repeat as Euro champions, and following its first WC trophy, I believe they have been anointed as the favorites. The Dutch and the Germans should remain very strong, imagine a Spain-Germany rematch after players such as Muller (age 20 and didn't play against Spain) and Ozil (age 21) have had added two years of experience. What may be the most intriguing thing about Euro 2012 is how Italy, France, and England all recover after this WC. But with that said I am also ready for 2014, if I am able to I want to make the trip down there.
  2. For all you Dancing Man fans. Might try to head out tonight to Woodman's on the West Side of Madison, hopefully they have it.
  3. Once Inter scored that first goal it was all up to Bayern to cash in and tie, Inter showed how solid they were at defending any attack (as they did for most of the 2nd leg of the semi-final) and Inter was alright with losing the possession battle as long as Bayern didn't score. It was unfortunate for neutral fans that Bayern didn't score first, the game would have been much more exciting I think
  4. Inter GOAL by Milito, I expect Inter to go into a defensive shell
  5. Watching it now, pretty even through the first 13 minutes
  6. Same here, I graduated from the same school as he did. One of my roommates and I want to get his USA jersey with the new diagonal stripe, which I believe is meant to be a tribute to the 1950 squad. The quality of forwards did take a hit when Davies couldn't make the roster; if you look around there were quite a few notable players left off their squads for various reasons, for instance Ronaldhino (Brazil), Adriano (Brazil), Benzema (France), and Cambiasso (Argentina). Very excited for this to begin. TLB, we are also looking forward to the UEFA final on Saturday, should be a great game. Did you happen to catch the 2nd leg of the Barcelona-Inter semi-final? Quite a performance by Inter to hold that high powered offense to one goal down a man.
  7. I see this was posted a while back, but I went to check the 2010 New Glarus Beer Calendar because it's getting to be that time of year for Dancing Man Wheat. Sadly, I see it isn't available until around July, looks like I will have to resort to the Crack'd Wheat for the time being (which I have never had). Another one of my favorite wheat beers is Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier from Germany. I have a four pack of Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA in the fridge right now, once finals are done on Thursday I will tap into that and test it out, I have heard good things.
