  1. Well, worst case senerio, we still go up a half game on SF if they lose. Leaving 4 teams above us in the wild card race rather than 5. But I'd still like to see the divisional team lose.
  2. It's nice to see Gwynn Jr. get the nod today. I wonder how he'll fair against the sidewider. I hope he does well at the plate. His speed in CF is much needed at Coors. It is almost weird to see Cirillo start today, not that I'm complaining in any way shape or form. It's just been a while. Graffanino ahead of Hall? Gabe Gross cleanup? 3 lefties in a row? Hmm..., I think I'd put Billy in the cleanup spot today and Gross down to 7. 1-8 would be LH, RH, LH, RH etc.
  3. If Sheets gets a CG today, I'll really question why he was pulled early in his last outing. I'd like to see him get it though.
  4. I guess they did, I missed that. So much for trying to jinx it then.
  5. Is it to early to say something like... 'Santos has a no-hitter through 3'...to try to jinx it and Brewers will start hitting him the way they should be?
  6. Great day for Sean Casey to back from the DL too.
  7. Glad to know I'm not the only one around who actually has him on a fantasy team (I run a league with a 30 man roster) Unfortunately, Yahoo still said Santos was going today and I believed them. Who is going for Pit tommorrow? That's originally what I was looking for here.
  8. The homeplate umpire was giving Clark a hard time about leaning in on an inside pitch (trying to get hit) and Yost came out between innings jawing at the ump.
  9. Yost tossed already. Does that mean Yount's in?
  10. Maybe Elizardo can get Hedricksoned tonight!
  11. How 'bout that? Pedro? walking 2 in a row? C'mon Miller, stay clutch
  12. It would really be nice to have another RH hitter on the bench now, wouldn't it?
  13. Randolph tossed too, I really wish I could be seeing this.
  14. Man, I wish this game was televised.
  15. So let's hope the AL wins the All-Star game that year http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  16. "Tainted"? that's a little harsh. That's a term you'd use to describe 250 of Barry's homers.
  17. Jim Powell just said "we're gonna call it a 344 ft. homerun"
  18. Jose always did have the arm to play in the outfield when he was here. His glove wasn't all that great at SS.
  19. I'd really like to be watching this game on TV since (obviously) I'm not there. I don't think general parking has ever been full even on an opening day. And there are plenty of people that just go to the home openers just to tailgate.
  20. Ueck just said that general parking is full. I've never heard of that happening before. Have any of you?
  21. Clark is batting lead-off tonight. No Rickie Weeks in the lineup.
  22. Moises Alou urinates on his hands. He said that 2 years ago (i think) when he was a Cub. He says it hardens the skin on his palms and has been doing this for quite some time. Notice how he never wears batting gloves? He also said his dad did not teach him this.
  23. I'd expect a bit of delay before they announce today's starting lineup. I'm not sure how hard he was hit.
