  1. Just want to remind everyone that today is the last day to buy Bob Uecker's favorite mustard, Silver Spring Beer and Brat Mustard, at a buy one, get one free price at your local Pick N' Save!
  2. just bought six bottles of Bob Uecker's favorite mustard, Silver Spring Beer and Brat Mustard for the price of three bottles! They had a nice display there as well. For that, Pick N' Save gets an A+ in my book! Hoooooooo!
  3. I see that Pick N' Save is running a buy 1, get 1 sale on Silver Spring Beer and Brat Mustard until this Wednesday, August 26th. A great deal for Bob's favorite mustard!
  4. In no particular order: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Chris Jericho Bobby "The Brain" Heenan Ric Flair "Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning "Ravishing" Rick Rude "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair Sheik Adnan El Kassey The Iron Shiek Edge Frankie "The Thumper" DeFalco "The SkullKrusher" Rasche Brown Corporal Robinson
  5. Then what is there purpose then?
  6. I am sick of people saying that Castro is just a scapecoat in all of this! Granted, he is not the sole reason why we stink this year, but again, if he was any good to begin with, he wouldn't have been stuck as a bullpen coach for 17 years. I did like how Doug Melvin just said on the TV broadcast that when the team was in LA, him and Billy caught a 10:30 showing of The Hangover. I liked even more that he fired him roughly a week later!
  7. Rodney Dangerfield was excellcent in his role as Thorton Melon! UW-Madison was the main college where the movie was filmed.
  8. I don't understand all of the love and defense for Bill Castro here! If he was such a great coach, why was he stuck as a bullpen coach for 17 years? Name someone who has been a bullpen coach for seventeen straight years? If he was decent, the Brewers would have promoted him or a different franchise would have given him a shot. So what if he is a nice guy. My record is clean, I'm a good person, so I want Macha's job after he gets the axe. He should have never got the job in the first place. I'm happy he's gone.
  9. I am happy that many here are finally giving Macha the heat he deserves. He needs to be shown the door as soon as possible.
  10. I might throw some $$$ down on Forrest getting three to one, even though he probably won't win. I also like BJ -220 and Amir -130.
  11. I remember during the Brewer/National game on Thursday afternoon, July 30th, where a throw home clearly beat Mike Cameron to home plate, but the National catcher ( Nieves) made a poor attempt at a tag, Cameron slid underneath it, and was ruled safe by the home plate umpire. So it can happen where a runner can be ruled safe even when the throw clearly beats him but the umpire can't be lazy, must move himself into proper position, and must care about making the correct call.
  12. His Boston contract called for him to make an additional $35,000 every DAY he is on the MLB roster. Regardless that he pitched in Yankee Stadium his last start, I watched him pitch (I believe it was his start before that) against Baltimore in Baltimore and I was truly surprised how bad he was.
  13. Does he still have the swine flu? Perhaps he could give it to Suppan, Burns, and/or Kendall. Give it to Macha and Castro as well.
