  1. That's because Associated Bank Check Deck only holds 42, Rick. The all you can eat buffet, 2 beers, and unlimited soft drinks in an area is a nice perk. Especially since its not often these areas are open to the general public - you need to be part of a group choosing to utilize the area. Sure, the hook in is the signed bobble, but it's a pretty nice value for a Sunday game when it's all said and done if you can exchange your tickets (or sell them to someone else if you aren't an SSH) through your rep and grab one of these. Forgive me for the positive take here. /blue
  2. That's the powder blue one, though. I actually have one of those. Most of us in this thread are talking about the gray jersey. My apologies. I didn't read every single post, but more looked at the pictures and it seemed like you were talking about the powder blues. Maybe they'll be coming back with the new logo on the horizon.
  3. The flannel style jerseys aren't cool base. A lot of times(I know in the past) these one off jerseys aren't even Majestic brand. It's a Majestic Authentic Collection. I'd go take a picture, but its Sunday and I'm being lazy. Take my word for it.
  4. They did it a few years ago, and had them for sale on MLB.com. I was lucky enough to grab one in my size, but it is a blank. It's not Mitchell and Ness, either. Definitely my favorite jersey I own even though for some odd reason it's not a Cool Base. http://news.sportslogos.net/2012/08/04/cards-and-brewers-honour-30th-anniv-of-82-world-series/
  5. http://www.royalsreview.com/2014/11/12/7207505/sb-nation-2014-off-season-simulation-debriefing (Didn't want to derail the "What Would You Do If You Were GM" thread, but mods feel free to merge if you think this should go there.) Pretty interesting exercise here. Say hello to Lester, and goodbye to Slick Wily and Lohse. And Will Smith, Arcia, Roache, Goforth and Pena. Must have been a crazy 4 days of communication with other armchair GMs. I still cant wrap my head around the "why" behind some of these. Especially the Diamondbacks-Cubs Goldschmidt trade.
  6. Mmm, consonance. My sister just told me about this and I figured I'd check and see if anyone else here was aware this was happening tomorrow. I couldn't glean if he's signing or just strictly playing Kinect with fans. I'll be there and try to stick out 4+ hours at a mall I absolutely loathe on the chance he might sign something for me. Being freshly unemployed has a few benefits, I suppose. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/business/216804861.html
  7. Myself and one other would definitely be in attendance if this happened in Milwaukee. Possibly another 1-2 as well.
  8. Long time reader, first time poster here. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/01/olney-on-astros-price-ethier.html Olney has an Insider only article up today, though I'm not a subscriber, saying the Mariners have called the Dodgers about Ethier multiple times. One would assume there's a fit for Corey in Seattle if that's the case. Jack did draft him, Mariners play ST in AZ, and Corey isn't tied down to a lengthy, expensive contract. I haven't seen any names thrown around who the Mariners would be sending, but does anyone have access to Insider or any idea what Corey could realistically bring back in a trade?
  9. Hey everyone, Long time lurker, first time poster. I said I'd always make my first post in the drunk thread, [sarcasm]because inebriated first impressions are always clearly the best ones[/sarcasm], but that sadly won't be the case now. I have 3 extra Fielder bobble arms since I treated my friends to a game after a night in Chicago, and I figured I'd let my fellow BF.netters have first shot at them because without this board I never would've likely known about the giveaway. I'm not a huge bobble collector, but I do enjoy having the ones of players I like. While I'm posting this from my phone and don't feel like putting out a whole list of who I'm looking for, I can say I'd love a Plush bobble as I missed out on all 4 of my tickets of getting the variant earlier in the year, and the Scooter vs. Snowman as well. If anyone is interested in trading I can post a more extensive list later, or you can just PM me offers too. I'm not looking for a kings ransom on these things, but I do know they're rare with the whole only 500 and Beloit not giving them out until the bottom of the 5th, so please don't low ball me either. Thanks, and its great to finally formally meet all of you!
