    You never know with prospects. It's easy to say that now. Then Clint Clouter happens. Small sample but perfect right now. Otherwise potentially injury elbow/shoulder issues velocity is down.

    My understanding is the rangers wanted to trade Gallo and we wanted Brinson. It's the reason we went with the Indians.

    It's so hard for box scores and stats to show how good someone is at defense. Brinson is an elite defensive player. Plays shallow and gets great reads. Mike Cameron comparison. Arcia/Brinson great combination.

    This trade in my opinion will say a lot about Stearns. It's way to early to have an opinion on him.

    any chance Mets are leaking bad proposals to prevent other teams from outbidding them. If they say both Smith and Rosario are on the table both Texas and Cleveland can beat that. Just a thought.

    My guess is TDA/Rosario/Smith are for sure. I would think probably two more players for Lucroy/Jeffress

    Lucroy is going to the Mets. The question is if a reliever is going along most likely Jeffress. I'm actually hearing lucroy for TDA\Cecchini and Smith added for Jeffress. I don't believe the names are right. I believe rosario was added and that's why the "significant piece" rumor was put out there.

    I'm hearing Mets have the best offer. I believe it's TDA and Rosario but there are also trying to get Jeffress or Smith included.

    It makes me think of derek lee. Hopefully he can be that good defensively.

    Adding more players doesn't always add value to a trade. I'm hoping we stay away from Texas.

    If JJ goes I think the return will be big. From what I have heard the asking price is quite high.

    The Indians really are the perfect fit. It will get done. Deep enough farm system to get the right return. You really couldn't have a better scenario work out for the brewers. All needs are met for both teams.

    I really want Bradley, McKenzie, Hillman, and Mejia for Lucroy and Smith. It fits our needs and all players involved have high ceilings. In my opinion it fits what Stearns is also looking for.
