  1. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/baseball/news/brewers-jimmy-nelson-rehab-schedule-clarified/ Ok, that's the last update I had seen as well, which is almost a week ago so I didn't know if he was scheduled the end of this week or if it was going to be longer. Still no specific return date which is hopefully much ado about nothing, but it would certainly be nice to see him in some sort of game action soon. I'm not counting on much of a contribution from him, but if he can come back to even 80-90% of what he was yet this season, he could obviously help somewhere, whether in the pen or rotation.
  2. Any word on Nelson other than what was reported almost a week ago? Is he still on track to start throwing at AAA this week?
  3. I know age isn't a great excuse, but I think we forget that he's only 24. Some immaturity is probably expected. I wonder if the Brewers have a behavioral therapist that works with the team. Baseball is such a mental game. Season is long. Seems like a no brainer. Meant to reply to this during the game, but my account wasn’t activated yet. I had an old account and just never migrated it so I’ve just been lurking without posting for a long time, but figured it was time! The Brewers do employ a sports psychologist. I happen to know him personally. He was a former college prof of mine. Obviously he can’t disclose anything specific, but have heard that people would be amazed at what goes through guys heads at the professional level. Sports psychology is fascinating and I would guess almost all teams employ a psychologist or players hire one personally. Anyway, looking forward to contributing to the forum once again!
