  1. I salute you, 82brewcrew82. Awesome.
  2. You have proven your superiority. That's awesome.
  3. I guess it's back to a one screen night!
  4. I just looked it up. Arraez' OBP is .391. Is that any good?
  5. Alright alright. Let's get a couple here.
  6. Batting .348. But that's a poor stat to ponder in the game of baseball.
  7. It's a two screen night. I'm curious to what Aaron does.
  8. Canha is a bum. Canha is a great hitter. This chat board.
  9. Extremely poor? If you say so. But some of us old water buffaloes like to know how often a guy stands at the plate and gets a hit.
  10. Leaving a belt high hanger didn't help either.
  11. The team from Chicago brought up a prospect for their playoff run. Pete Crow-Armstrong. I kind of wondered if any of our top prospects were ready.
  12. Yep, and last year he hit .222, which sadly is as good or better than most of our roster. Some guys do play better out of the big lights of NYC. I guess we'll see.
  13. It feels a little like desperation for a team that's 3 games in the lead with 20 left to play. Donaldson's last good season was 2019, when he hit .259, and his last really good season was 2015, when he hit .297. Also our coaches do not have a great record of improving incoming hitters. But let's see what he can do!
  14. It's an American tradition to poke a little fun at people whose opinion of themselves is a touch lofty.
  15. There are bad spells, and then there are bad spells. Some of us amateur baseball fans were disturbed by his numbers when we signed him, but the internet baseball experts (the IBEs) corrected us. I hope he figures things out at some point and gets going with his career, but that loss yesterday to the Yankees after Cy's gold-plated outing was a soul destroyer.
  16. Take a look back at the threads and behold the prognostications from the baseball experts here. I can cut and paste direct quotes if you like.
  17. Please tell me the trade deadline crown jewel Andrew Chafin' is no longer on the roster. That is all I care about.
  18. Can’t think of another explanation.
  19. We were told by the internet baseball experts, who are FAR more knowledgeable than baseball announcers, that Chafin’ was the next Goose Gossage.
