We have the lowest team batting average in the National League and the third from the worst in all of Major League Baseball. And we are in first place. So you could say, What a good job CC is doing in spite of poor hitting. But you can also say, How far could we seriously go in the playoffs if we hit the baseball better.

It was great seeing Conteras post to X (Twitter) that he loves Milwaukee. That's the kind of clubhouse atmosphere CC is able to create. I hope the next guy can do the same.
