I hope you are right, but I don’t think you are. Even when that team wins, or even a player gets a base hit (and did that hand thing), it doesn’t seem to have that August joy. I think it matters, even to pro ball players.

The team was having a great time when they were winning in August. That sense of joy is long gone. Jackson looks as unhappy as I've ever seen him. This team needs to find its mojo again.
