  1. Swanky's is the Wisco dive bar about a block from the stadium, but there's also Badgers on south Broadway and Wally's Wisconsin Tavern on Market St. The July 4th fireworks display will be awesome, so if you get certain tickets, they let you out on the field after the game. I can't recall which levels/sections, but the tickets for those go fast. Rooftop in the right field upper deck is a lot of fun, but maybe not the best for a family. I would agree with avoiding sitting in the sun. Taking the train in to Union Station is pretty cool, usually what I do from Golden. I actually drive to Old Town Arvada and will pregame there and then take the train in. Day pass on the train is like $6 per person. It's about a 4 block walk from there and you go past Dairy block and Toms watch bar, or there's lots of rickshaws willing to peddle you there, and you can negotiate the fee. I'd also try to get there earlier to avoid the crowds entering in through the metal detectors. Left field or right field entrance is usually better for that. Home plate entrance get's pretty packed.
