I'd probably look into taking a class at a local tech school. Once I decided to shift careers, I took a few classes at MATC and found a job I love. Cost is low, plus the feedback and resume-worthy experience was worth it, at least for me. Also, most places will offer courses online, so if you have an odd work schedule, you can still do it.

I'm sitting in 160, which is just past 3rd base. I'm sure you'll have better seats than I.

When my dad was in the Navy and we lived in SC, we would go to Captain D's on Tuesdays for kids-eat-free day. I haven't had it in 15+ years, but I remember it being pretty decent.

I'd go for Field Outfield down the 1st base line if it is within your budget. There is a brand new, massive kid zone right behind the seats there, so you would be very close to that. Also, you can still see the field from that area, so you could possibly see some of the game during playtime.

I'll bet he ends up with a nice exhibit in the HOF. I doubt he'll be inducted as a player, but he opened the door for players like Ichiro, Johjima, Matsui, DiceK amongst others.
