  1. Suppan is a pitcher with heart. He's a real innings eater. If he's on, and he is most of the time, you must jump on him early. Grab a couple runs in the first inning. After that he settles down. Jeff's one that can go the distance. There might not be a chance to wait for his exit. Suppan can be compared to the Buc's Redman which you just recently saw. Now that the Bucs are gone, I'm back with the Crew! Just Do It!
  2. I beleive the term "High Scoring" eludes to that fact. And if I have to do a reality check, it will be a one sided event.
  3. Fogger and Capuano match up pretty well. The Bucs didn't exactly light it up last night, and they really haven't had a good record of Day Games after Night Games. Fogg picked up our first win. He's always going to be a fourth starter type, and has potential to be lit up. Averaging 10 win a year on this club means he's doing something right. I'd say we still have some pay back left in the tank. I see a high scoring event coming this afternoon. Advantage: Bucs
  4. Boys had a Players Only meeting yesterday after losing once again to the Crew. Watch out for the Back-Lash. Redman held San Diego Scoreless in his first start. He's in his groove. Are the Brewers going to be looking past the Bucs or will they remain focused? With this mound Match-Up, I'm looking for a low score, maybe extra innings. Ya right, I'd like to be that close in the ninth. Play Ball!
  5. Ty plays that way every day. It's exactly that kind of hustle that got us a win yesterday in San Diego. If he's going home he hit's like a train.
  6. Slidebernieslide - I really don't think Ollie's got any real problem. This was the first year he hadn't played winter-ball. He's just not in his rythem. He almost didn't make the roster last spring due to poor performance. It won't take much and he'll be right back on.
  7. Thanks for the Welcome - I'm a transplanted Pittsburgher. Lifetime Bucco fan, grew up in the 70's around some great baseball. I've been here in Wisconsin for the last 10 years, and have struggled to adopt the Brewers as my "other" team. The sadden state of both teams made the journey hard over the past several years. While I'm happy to see progress here in Milwaukee, I'm just as sad to see it lagging in the Burgh. That being said, when the teams meet, I'm flying the Jolly Roger... and hoping for the best.
  8. Not the same old story, this time around at least. Hungry Bucs team in back in town. No sign of Big Ben this time. If Wells is on his game, he's as good as any number 1 pitcher. Humbled by two horrific losses at the hands of the once lowly Brew Crew, the Bucs can smell revenge in the air. Problem, Brewers have improved somewhat while the Bucs have not. But it's not that simple. We still have to play the games. This would be a great time for the Bucs bats to wake up. Let the games begin....
