I would like our offense to do a little more. Five runs were very nice, but more would make me feel a lot less nervous.

Andrew Vaughn is awful, and I am not overly happy having him start two days in a row (since I presume he starts against Kershaw tomorrow). I also am not in favor of benching Joey despite his bases-loaded struggles. Hopefully, both moves pan out somehow, but I don't have high hopes.

This feels like a bit of a rehash of the Mets' series. I hope I'm wrong and we win tomorrow.

The offense is very troubling right now. That's game. Get 'em tomorrow, but that was frustrating to watch, especially Joey's bases-loaded AB.

Actually, we should have stayed with Hall since he wouldn't have pitched tomorrow. Oh well, I realize this is a bit of MMQB-ing. I'm more disappointed in the offense. Pathetic performance today besides Jackson. It looked like they were guessing most of the game.

He should have started the inning if he were available. I didn't realize Mears had pitched 3/4 games. I thought they had no other options.

Yeah, if they score, it's game. We had two chances with runners at 3rd and fewer than two outs and failed. This is on the offense.

🤦♂️William, you were not thrown a strike. Granted, the 2-0 pitch was a bad call, but you can't swing at some of the crap that you did.

Joey comes up with the bases loaded all the time, and, for the most part, looks completely lost. The salami was an aberration.
