    Yes and the first batter he hit and the 4 pitches he wasn’t in the strike zone. Was it fatigue or just that he didn’t have his best stuff? Sometimes you don’t have control that’s how it goes but you battle through it

    He didn’t miss badly. He was near the edge of the zone on a lot of pitches and wasn’t getting the call.

    Just because you can’t find the strike zone doesn’t mean you’re “overworked” some days you just don’t have control

    It’s good for pitchers to be able to work out of jams even if they don’t have their control or best stuff. It’s one game in August and you are all acting like they just lost the playoffs

    So if a starting pitcher comes into the first inning and walks a couple people should he be pulled? Williams has proven himself time in and time out that he gets out of jams even if he doesn’t have control or his best stuff
