On my way to Great American Ballpark in 10 minutes. Will be good to see Gallardo make his debut. GO CREW!

Don't get me wrong, I'm only a casual NHL fan, but it looks like some of the guys have begun growing the old "playoff beard". It started with Hart and his hitting streak and now it looks like JJ and Prince are on board with beards in the making. This could be an identity thing with the team this year. The Bearded Brew Crew. Can you imagine Turnbow with a Jeff Reardon beard thing happening. Shaving Cream/Gel---------------$5 Razor----------------$10 Doing so good you don't need either------------PRICELESS

Braggs, now he was a big dude. I remember when Bo Jackson was breaking bats over his knee and I thought that was fairly impressive no matter how. . . well .. . not smart it was. Then I saw Braggs break one literally over his "larger than normal" neck, I laughed and thought to myself "I wouldn't recommend Bo try that". Sorry this was off topic, but Braggs was my favorite because he was so darn BIG.

Frog, I totally agree that Braun needs to work on his fielding while still in the minors. That is what they are for, I wholeheartedly agree with you. My biggest thing is I get frustrated with people who assume someone can't do something before they even get the opportunity to do it. I am not, repeat, not saying that you were doing that....I just was venting some frustration at no one in particular. Trust me, I'm as excited as anyone to have Braun as a Brewer. I'll just save my judgement until I have something from his Major League career to judge.

Yeah, and I remember when everyone on this board thought Corey Hart couldn't hit.......something about elbow position. The fact is that nobody can say how a young prospect will fair in MLB until said prospect is given a fair shake in (guess where)that's right, MLB.

Good Luck Mr. Jenkins...we're pulling for you.
  8. Bigtop79
Yes, Billy is still hitting above 270. In order for him to move up in the order he only has to drop his average. That is what Bill Hall must do to move back up in the lineup. Start to hit like Jenks........nah, if Billy starts to swing it like Jenks....God help us all.

No, Barnwell is why we miss Koskie.......and Rickie for that matter. Barnwell.....Chris Barnwell.....please report to AA. Thank you.

Jenkins in the lineup anywhere against a lefty is a joke. Not even a funny joke at that. Way to go Ned. Here's hoping Jenks makes me eat my words.
  11. Bigtop79
    Lineups out yet?
  12. Bigtop79
fine the third base coach or fine Brady Clark.......HORRIBLE!
  13. Bigtop79
Jenks hit a HR against Cincy....therefore he will likely be in the lineup from this day forward. that and the fact that Hart is no longer hitting over .350 he won't get anoyher start until he is.
  14. Bigtop79
good deal for Rillo. He deserves this one. Ned...I'm proud of you for now.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Man, are we hammering the ball or what http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  16. Bigtop79
Well, so much for that. Good Job Jenks I guess. just put it in play and he steals 3rd. That looked odd.
  17. Bigtop79
Well put Canada.....IF he had guts. We shall see! The guy for the Reds just said Jenks is 1 for 16 against Merker Lifetime.
  18. Bigtop79
Here comes Merker.....what will Nedly do?
  19. Bigtop79
Liriano's slider is just GROSS\ and if he keeps getting the high strike and the low strike we are in for a long.......LONG day
  20. Bigtop79
Gallardo......4 hit shutout through 7 well, that is Yo's night and he leaves after 7 leading 2-0. Great small sample for his AA debut.
  21. Bigtop79
Yo only giving up 2 hits through 5 thus far. I think 6 or 7 K's ..... and he also has a base hit.
  22. Bigtop79
why Lee is swinging 2-0 is interesting also. especially at that
  23. Bigtop79
