i hope he will

dodgers have had their area scout take him to a few class A games and just to hang around him to try to get a feel for what kind of kid he is. they have been doing their homework on him and I haven't heard that they have lost interest in him as i have with a few other teams. If you believe he will act right you can't pass on him as his talent is top 5 picks of the draft.

i heard from a pretty reliable source that if kiker is there at 30 the cards will take him, but he should be gone by then. cory had a work out with the bravo's this past week.

kiker is in milwaukee today for a workout with the brewers. had a workout in Texas that took his name out the hat for their first round pick. also worked out for braves and didn't do as well as he had hoped there, braves are out, rangers out. Dodgers still considering him at 26 and 31.

GagneCY03, Here's a little intel for regarding the Dodgers. Kasey Kiker was with the Area Scout at the Columbus Catfish game last night and the rumor is he is LA bound.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Colby what is the latest projection on Kiker?

here is an update on Kasey Kiker's first start. He touched 97 in a start against Cody Johnson and Mosley. Johnson K'd, hit dribbler to second and walked against Kiker. He was overmatched. Rasmus pitched against North Florida Christian and also touched 97 and pitched 93-95 with a plus curveball. Rc beat NF 8-5, Rasmus went 5 and gave up no runs. www.baseballamerica.com/t...ellhs.html

Colbyjack, Where do you see these two players(Kasey Kiker, Cory Rasmus) fitting into the 06 draft?

colbyjack, Will the cardinals receive a compensatory pick for Cal Eldred even though he has retired? or how does that particular situation work in regards to compensation?
