A: Craig Counsell

Q: Who need's to be pinch hit for in the Bottom of the 8th?

He has not had a clue vs Lincecum today. Let's hit Graffi, Mench, and Hart next inning.

A: How fans can always find a way to constantly whine and complain about the Brewers this year when the last zillion years we were always 10 1/2 or more back at this point. This is what we have wanted - a team that is competing for the division crown (and still in the lead).

Q: What does Mike Van not understand?

A: Suffering thru all the losing seasons is almost more tolerable then having a team lead the division for most of the year, only to come up short of the playoffs at the end of the year.

Q: What is less nerve wracking and not nearly as heartbreaking??

Posted

A: Watching exciting games that matter - win or lose. The ones that pull a little on your heart strings.

Q: What is basebal all about?

on anohter note:

A: Brian Shouse

Q: Who's meatball did Barry Bonds jack out of the park for HR number 754?

Posted

A: Pitch almost two innings against mostly righties and walk lefties.

Q: What does our lefty "specialist" do?

Posted

A: I didn't say this game was exciting. I was more curious about people who start to say "when in packer training camp" and "This offense will never be good."

Q: What was I talking about.

What is making me hope this is a reversal of course?

A: Maybe we'll start winning on the road

Enthusiasm for watching/listening to the remainder of this game.

Who is playing like a tired baseball team?

The Crew

A: It's been a little over a week since the all star break.

Q: How is this team tired?

Posted

That strikeout by Johnny pretty much summed up these past two games. I'm not really one to rip on Ned, but I don't know how you leave Spurling in there after walking the pitcher to load the bases.

And speaking of, why'd they leave Lincecum in to bat, but pull him from pitching the 9th anyway?

I actually would have preferred they just left Spurling in there once it got to that point. He got in that ugly mess so he might as well have pitched out of it and not wasted Turnbow.

Q: What doesn't completely fit into today's crapfest, but is technically true nonetheless?

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
