  1. Yup, re-fied at 1.875% for 15 years in 2020. Set to pay off about four years earlier than expected. as a result, I won’t be moving anytime soon
  2. For as good as Zerpa looked this spring--especially in the WBC--I thought we really had transformed another blah pitcher into something special. Turns out, he's returned to being a blah pitcher. It's been disappointing and, yes, I think he needs to get out of some high leverage innings for a little while, unless they need his left-handedness for a couple of lefty-on-lefty matchups.
  3. I don’t know how miscellaneous this is, but are the Brewers not doing a pregame show for road games this year? All four games so far did not offer one on the MLB.TV app. Last season they had pregame shows for home and road available. So, just checking in case I’m missing something.
  4. Wouldn’t it be something if they made this deal only to trade him at the deadline in a complete blockbuster deal to go out and try to win the World Series? I had mentioned in the bold predictions thread that I thought Pratt would get traded at the deadline but I now think that’s doubtful. But what if, you know???
  5. True story: my wife and I saw the Brewers in Goodyear this spring, playing the Reds and then the Guardians. In the Reds game, we sat down the first base line a bit past the dugout and saw Pratt, among others, standing at attention during the national anthem. I noticed, however, he couldn’t stop futzing with his hair once his hat was off. The next night, we were in the front row on the third base side by the tarp. Here comes Pratt to meet family who were visiting. They asked if I could take a photo, so I obliged. Afterward, I spoke with Pratt a bit (there was next to nobody in the park yet) and told about the hair thing the previous afternoon. He and his family all had a good laugh, mentioning how he always was self-conscious of how he looked without a hat on. So, I love the guy but I don’t know how much trust I put in a guy who’s more concerned with his hair than his play when he’s on the field.
  6. 3 CWS 3-0 3 TB 2-1 3 KC 1-2 3 BOS 1-2 3 WAS 3-0 3 TOR 2-1 3 MIA 1-2 3 DET 1-2 3 PIT 3-0 3 ARI 2-1 That adds up to 19-11 for me. Optimistic, for sure.
  7. I don’t think it’s been activated as an actual channel yet. 670 doesn’t even exist according to my receiver’s “add channels” menu option
  8. Just an FYI, my wife said she found an article (or something) that said DirecTV channel for Brewers TV will be announced on Thursday (yes, on opening day 🙄) as they are still negotiating with MLB about the rights to broadcast games. unbelievable. But totally believable
  9. That's actually good to see. The last time I checked (~2 weeks ago) they were $500 apiece on every site. I'll probably wait a while to see how low they can go. Thanks for the update. I had kinda given up hope.
  10. Tickets are already on sale on StubHub and places like that for exorbitant amounts ($400-500 per ticket!). We had planned on going (already have hotel rooms) but not going to pay those prices. if I spend $19, do I get access to normal pricing?
  11. Yeah, I already plan on giving Nate a call some time this week Thanks for the info! I must not have seen that email
  12. I got the email today from the Brewers regarding season ticket holders. From how I read it, SSH are NOT getting MLB.Tv for free this year. The email only included links to purchase Brewers.TV Disappointed. I will assume that T-Mobile will offer it for free again, but who knows?
  13. I like how members are calling out other members for their bold predictions, which is the purpose of this thread. It's supposed to just be some fun. Maybe that should be blue. Maybe not. Maybe this post you are reading right now should be in the "What's Bugging You" thread.
  14. Woodruff has a nice season--13 W, 172 K, 162 IP Yelich has a nice season--.299, 31 HR, .912 OPS Turang breaks out--.288, 28 HR, .833 OPS, 30 SB Chouio break out--in hives during spring training due to a scorpion bite, but then .301, 33 HR, .991 OPS Rest of the rotation put out 8-10 win seasons each, with WHIPs that range from 1.20-1.39 Bullpen does it's thing. All-stars: Yelich, Chourio BOLD prediction: TWO of Fischer, Made, Pratt, Wilkin, Jett Williams are up with the team from July thru the end of the season. However, ONE of them will be traded at the deadline! Result? Brewers win 92 games and take the division on the final day of the season.
