This is funny. If that is the case Villy should be out of the lineup. Two hits and 70 pitches and he should of been out. Now this is complete nonsense.

Even if they were 2 hits to lead off the inning, and the second one was a bomb? Not completely nonsense to get him out of there after that. Ned was going on pitch count alone, simple as that. The Reds figured out CV, but Ned did not figure out the Reds figured it out until three hits and a run later. BOOOO!!!!

O so now after a couple hits we know, that they know, how to hit Villy. Hilarious! And what does this have to do with Yost? Doesn't that have to do with Villy, knowing what they are thinking and then changing his thinking? This gets better every game in here.

but our offense is still just our offense, which is above average.

I disagree. This isn't our offense from last year. This offense is garbage.

So a check-swing single and one hanging curveball constitutes "figuring out" a pitcher?

Add this to one of the 60 losses, there isn't anything Yost could have done if we don't score runs.

This teams offense isnt that bad... at all.. i like it more then last years actually.. Hitting with RISP..they had 2 bad games sheesh.

Wow! I can see that I'm going to have to take some breaks from BF.net because whenever the Crew loses the world comes to an end.

The world may not end but the team is terrible and complete garbage.

Are you watching the game or just listening? Yeah, you could see that Villy was tiring. His pitches were up, he was missing his spots and the Reds were catching on to him in the 6th. Sheesh, step away from the hate button already. To me, it was a valid point since I am actually watching the game.

Are you calling the battlers garbage?

EVERYONE TAKE A DEEP BREATH! The game isn't over yet, but even if we do lose we are 6-3. I know - probably should take 2 out of 3 against the Reds at home, but we did face Cueto and Harang. IT WILL BE OKAY...

Harang with 84 pitches - 64 for strikes. That's pounding the strike zone.

A patient approach with that ratio gets hitters into a lot of 2 strike counts...it's not as if Brewer hitters are swinging at balls out of the strike zone...

Harang is pitching a gem, and the sketchy Brewer offense is making it even more impressive.

I think we need to look at the big picture here.

We took 2/3 from the Cubs.

We won 4/6 at home.

The two home losses came against one of the league's best pitchers and the other one against one of the league's best up-and-coming pitchers. Keep in mind, in these losses, we were putting out our two worst (probably) pitchers.

The real test is to come this weekend....

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people
