D-1 College Brewers still playing in Super Regionals

There are still a host of Brewer draft picks playing in the NCAA D-1 Super Regionals.

 

6th round pick, Texas A&M SS Jose Duran lost today to Rice 9-7. They will be playing tomorrow (Sunday) at 6:00 Central time on ESPN2.

 

8th round pick, Erik Komatsu, LF, Cal State Fullerton lost yesterday to Stanford 4-3. They are playing tonight (Saturday) at 6:30 Central time on ESPN.

 

13th round pick, Robert Wooten, RHP, North Carolina beat Costal Carolina 9-4 today and they will play tomorrow at 12:00 pm (Sunday) Central time on ESPN.

 

21st round pick, Lucas Luetge, LHP, Rice Univ. beat Texas A&M today 9-7. They will be playing tomorrow (Sunday) at 6:00 Central time on ESPN2.

 

41st round pick, Joseph Scott, SS, Cal State Fullerton lost yesterday to Stanford 4-3. They are playing tonight (Saturday) at 6:30 Central time on ESPN.

Unfortunately Cal State Fullerton lost again to Stanford last night, as Stanford's heading for Omaha. Jason Castro was huge in both of their game.

NC moving on, I caught Wooten strike a guy out in the ninth he looks to have some pretty good stuff.

Wooten's fastball isn't throw particularly hard (he's right around 90) but he throws it where he wants it, and his slider/splitter are nearly unhittable when he's throwing darts with his fastball the way he was.

 

Buster Posey was huge today as FSU advances. Now onto Gordon Beckham and the Bulldogs taking on NC State.

LSU game was really fun to watch today. Some spectacular outfield defense by LSU.
