Harrison hit one further than I've seen at fox cities stadium in a long time. That thing was tattooed.
-
Two major leaguers, one a solid closer and an all star catcher and we are getting two of their top three prospects back. I feel like their needs to be another piece or two or three...
-
Amazing debut for young Kodi Medeiros 6 ip, 0 hits, 1 walk and 7ks. 47 of 63 pitches were strikes.
-
Harrison ejected in the ninth, trats fall 4-3. Good nights for Carlos Leal and Elvis Rubio not so much for the rest of the team.
-
Cy Sneed with a good outing 4 ip 2 hits 1 unearned run 5 k's and a walk on 58 pitches. Trats tied at three in the bottom of the 8th.

Your 2015 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

I'm surprised to see Gatewood in Appleton, don't the younger guys sometimes stay in AZ until Helena starts? -
I think I saw on stones twitter feed he was announcing on the 21st.

I'll always remember the bomb he hit into Big Mac land. That ball and many of the others were absolutely smoked. Wish he would have got out there one more time for the fans to give him his props.

Personally I will be upset if they stick with the status quo. If you would have told me before the season that we would finish at .500 and be in it until the last week of the season I would have been happy, but right now I pissed we blew the chance. The bottom line is they played absolutely miserable the last month plus and choked a way a playoff chance. As a fan I will be upset if Mark A says it was a good year and nothing changes, one if not both need to go.

Wonder how much more will come out. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/11551518/how-ray-rice-scandal-unfolded-baltimore-ravens-roger-goodell-nfl

I know its a moot point because we are getting shelled but did anyone else notice on the replay how the Giants runner slid about 4 ft wide of the base while throwing his arms up? Maybe it was the angle but to see Weeks called for interference for sliding over the base and then to see that not called is frustrating.

I know they needed to get K-rod some work but why not try and get Wang an inning. One of the few chances they had to get him in and they don't.
-
Don't forget about the Super Bowl. Amazing game by the Badgers over coming the home crowd and some questionable calls. Gasser proves once again what a great defensive player he is. Sean Miller is a classy classy coach.
-
I tend to agree with you but MU having Duane Wilson who teamed up with him to win two state titles might help. I hope both state schools press hard as that would be a huge get.
-
I guess I didn't pay that close attention did ticket prices drop at the end of the season or is this just a ploy to cause fans to pay more for the popular (weekend) games?
-
I've been surprised that Bo hasn't used Anderson and bohanon more during the non conference season. It really seems like they are going to need another big to step up from time to time to play minutes once conference season comes around.
-
I thought I read that defensive metrics were a part of the vote this year and that Gomez had a clear edge there. I'm hoping with that and some of the highlight reel catches he had this year that he gets it.

Sad to see the badgers leave the wcha but I'm glad will get to see more games on the big ten network. Excited for the season to start.

2013-09-10 to 2013-09-12 Brewers vs Cardinals

I agree Scooter has been impressive in all facets of the game, he's been a pleasant surprise to a pretty crappy season. -

Fair or foul on that Adams hit? I know that Rock thought it was clearly fair but it seemed like that ball was tailing and might have glanced off the wall foul and then bounced on the line. -
Way to tank a great play Francisco, my 5 year old could have made that play...
-
Is there a reason why Khris Davis doesn't play? I thought he had been red hot prior to getting called up and then homered in a pinch hit at bat.
-
That story made me laugh out loud especially CJ Wilson's story. Not sure why teams would continue to stay there if people have that many issues.
-
I was thinking the same thing after seeing Rickie out of the lineup, don't really get why we are starting a journeyman at 1st who has never played the position. Is there a reason why they don't call Morris up? At least he has played the position before...

Braun, Biogenesis and the Whole Crazy Thing
packfan79 replied to splitterpfj's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
It will be interesting to see if Braun takes the potentially penalty based on the craptastic year we are having or if he continues to fight this. I'm not sure how an employer paying a third party to bust their own employees would stand up if/when this goes to court. I understand that PEDS are a problem, but this along with the drawn out legal cases that are sure to come make MLB seem ridiculous.
