Trading Post Rules - 10/13/08 draft revision

The Brewerfan.net Trading Post Forum exists to allow members to seek or offer items for either trade or sale. Please note the following:

 

• This forum is visible for reading by logged-in Brewerfan members only. Access to post in this forum is granted after one month of board membership.

• Brewerfan.net takes no fee for trades or sales made on this forum, and does not provide any statement about the quality, authenticity, or reliability of items offered or transactions made here.
  

• Brewerfan.net reserves the right to ban or otherwise discipline any member who conducts business in an intentionally misleading way - for example, selling gear that is billed as 'authentic' but is in fact a low-quality knockoff, or failing to deliver (or pay for) promised merchandise at all.
  

• Do not offer game tickets for more than face value. We do not consider this forum to be a storefront for members to make large profits off other members. (Processing fees that are part of the overall cost of tickets may be included in the asking price for tickets.)
  

• Collectible items vary in relative value, but please keep your asking prices reasonable. If you question the value of an offer, contact the offering party via private message.

• Please honor any conditions placed on a transaction by the offering party. For example, if a member offers free game tickets with the request that they not be resold, don't accept the tickets and then resell them.

• Television and radio broadcasts cannot legally be distributed without the expressed written consent of their originators, so we cannot allow them to be sold, traded, or distributed here. Posts that ask about copies of such broadcasts put Brewerfan.net at risk of cease-and-desist action by MLB or other copyright owners - so don't even bring up the topic.

• If you start a Trading Post thread, make your thread title clear. Don't post something generic like "Anybody got extras?" when you could say, "Seeking a blue Gantner bobblehead." If you have a long list of items to sell or trade, then a title like "My Bobblehead Trade List" is OK.

• Do not post or publicly distribute another person's non-Yuku contact information. Please keep this information reserved for private messages.

• Please don't bump threads in this forum, unless it's to add new information. If your item drew no interest, you may want to consider another source to promote it.
