Wow did Bradley get all of that one...I believe that's his first hit of the year, too.

According to WGN, it's also his 400th career RBI.

How does Looper look? Sans the home run on the radio it sounds like he is doing pretty darn well.

He would be looking much better than his stats (4 walks) if this umpire knew what the hell a normal strike zone is.

He gives a much worse pitch to Harden. Looper has had probably four or five better pitches than that that have been called balls.

His control hasn't been great, nice movement on his pitches though. He looks like a guy who didn't get to throw enough in spring training http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif.

Hart just swung at a ball that bounced in front of the plate, to give you an idea how he is doing with plate discipline.

Has Hart been laying off sliders away any more than he was at the end of last year?
Not on the first strike to him in the 5th inning. You'd have to see it to believe it.

If anyone is watching on WGN, Len and Bob are raving about Harden's ability to get Corey to chase balls away in the dirt... Memo to Len and Bob, just about any pitcher can do that, it isn't specific to Harden.

It was also a pitch that Hill had no shot at blocking to give those not watching an even clearer picture.

Shaky strike zone or not, Harden's been wicked today. Hopefully he's not in there much longer, because I can't believe Looper is getting out of some of these innings scoreless.

Decent outing today by Looper. Like another said you can tell he didn't have much work in spring training. But he got out of jams and his pitches moved. Just didn't have his normal good command. But I'm feeling good overall about Braden.
