Almost through the roof - no Counsell.

C'mon, fellas, make the last home series a good one.

Not a great start by the Crew.....lets hope for a shootout!

BA has a great ability to jinx any player...."Ryan Braun, the leagues best hitter against left handed pitching"......and less than 2 seconds later ...."and Happ strikes him out."

Someone tell him never to talk again about stats. He has done that too much this year!

Nice approach to 3B, Jason. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Just mosh the plate, why don't you?

On the up side, it distracted me (and FS Wisconsin) from dwelling on Chef Jerry "yuck" Garcia being in the ballpark.

Chef Jerry can go back to his tailgating.......I wonder what he made tonight at his tailgate in lot, lobster, clams, tofu sandwiches.....what will it be?

BA just jinxed Braun again.... 2-2 count, bragging about how Braun is closing in on 200 hits, and just after saying "he leads the NL in mulit-hit games" Braun K's.....two for two BA, keep it up!

I wouldn't know, but I cringed a bit when they were talking about his "assistant."

I got out of the shower, turned the radio back on, heard this "oooooooooooooooo" noise from the crowd...and instantly sensed that they weren't chanting "Soooouuuuup." http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

I can't say I ever imagined thinking anything along the lines of, "dang, Narveson doesn't pitch this series." Not that you can bank on better results, but can you expect much worse?

This game has taken a very sour turn......not good. Big upset brewing in college FB, South Carolina up 16-3 on Ole Miss. Its on ESPN, I have been switching back and forth to try and ease the pain of the Soup-ing of the Crew......

The nicest thing I can think of to say about this game is at least Suppan didn't give up a leadoff jack (like the last time he faced PHI at Miller Park).

While I generally am ok with Brian Anderson as an announcer, I agree 100% with the comment about him going way overboard on statistics. If a Brewer ever has a chance at a no-hitter I guarantee BA will ruin it, and probably by the 4th inning. I seriously imagine BA going on and on about a no-hitter by the 3rd or 4th at the latest. And as it is his stat bombartment for nearly every Fielder and most Braun at bats is incredibly aggravatinng. In the olden days I would turn on the radio and watch the game on tv but right now I'm living out of state and have to choose between mlb.tv and gameday audio so I get really tired of the stats.

Why not let the young guys play? It cannot hurt anything! (Butler just started warming up)

A rumor I heard today is that JJ Hardy is getting spot starts when potential trading partners send their scouts to Miller Park......dont know if its true, but it is an ok reason I guess......

Gamel really getting no shot. I really feel bad for the young guys, as being called up to sit and watch loosing baseball does nobody any good.

Narveson is getting starts.

Did anyone else wonder for a moment if Jody Gerut could go deep with the bases loaded again? At least he gave it a ride.

Call up Amaury Rivas and give him a start... he has to be added to the 40-man anyway.
The chance of that happening are about as good as Gamel getting two starts in a row. That would be really cool though.
