Polish Falcons

I actually think the umps got this call right. The ball initially bounced foul but then went fair. Escobar put a glove on it in fair territory, it was on the foul line when he touched it. That’s a fair ball. The part I don’t get is the play being scored a double and Burnes getting charged with two runs. Seemed like an error to me. Also didn’t get replay calling Bader safe at 2nd.

What a disappointing end to the season. Counsell managed the bullpen innings more or less how I would have. I was nervous about Suter in the 5th, but he made it through without any runs, and that was the right choice. Hader is supposed to be our best reliever and go-to guy. He blew our chance to win the division. He blew the wild card game. That is pretty brutal. I would have pitched him in the same spots, but the fact he can't close out any of these crucial games is pretty devastating. I don't know what to make of him going forward. I have nothing against Grisham for his error. It was a mistake, but by that point Hader blew the lead and I have no confidence in his ability to maintain a tie, nor do I have confidence in the Brewers ability to re-gain the lead. They had their chance, and the all-star reliever blew it once again. A real punch in the gut. I am somewhat optimistic that this team can be good again in 2020 with Yelich and Huira leading the charge.

Wow I thought for sure Hader would be back for a second inning in this situation.

The NL wild card game time hasn’t been announced yet. Does anyone have any clues as to what time the game will be at? I am guessing it will be in the evening because there is only one game that day. In the past they have had both wild card games on the same day. I am really anxious to find out when the game is.

Giving up on Domingo Santana is starting to look like a pretty bad move as he would be a nice upgrade over Braun.

Does anyone have a tip for listening to the radio broadcast on your phone through an app or otherwise ? I downloaded the WTMJ app and am disappointed the game is not on there.

Does anyone know of stores in Milwaukee still selling postseason gear? would like to pickup today as gifts. thanks for any tips!

Rock takes a lot of pride in disregarding the strike zone. "too close to take"

Does anyone have a good weather forecast? Im wondering if I should go to bed.

After tonight I truly feel they should fire Counsel just like they did Yost during the 2008 playoff run.

Wow, Albers managed to give up at least a run in 8 of 9 outings. He escaped the jam there.

We can't give a player any slack for a two day slump, with one of the games against Clayton Kershaw?

I would definitely go 2 innings Hader here to give the Brewers 6 outs for the win. Hope I'm wrong.

I feel like you cold say similar for most of Stearns signing/trades. There wasn't a lot of positive reaction for Chacin, some very negative, and he's been pretty great.People scratching their head over the Moustakas trade as if Shaw can't play 2nd base. I think he'll be passable there. For years people saying Braun couldn't possibly play 1st base. Not saying he's great there, but it's not that big of a deal if he plays games there. Everyone was speculating Aguilar wouldn't make the team, did the Brewers ever hint this? Etc

I love seeing the smile on Peralta's face while he tips his hat to the cheering crowd. Excellent performance. He is so happy about it and not afraid to show it.
