I don't know anything about those prospects but does Houston have any clue what they are doing? The moves they have made over the last few seasons have just been treading water. At some point they need to blow up that team and get some prospects instead of acquiring mediocre talent.

Didn't the Astros trade for Wolf a couple years back at the deadline? Houston has been giving away their top MLB talent at the deadline for years. Probably still trying to contend while Lee is on the roster.

Lee is on the roster for a long time (3 more seasons at $18.5m). This could be Berkman's last year there but given how they tend to hold on to players his 2011 $15m option might very well be picked up.

From what little I've read on Bono & Bryan, they're not considered top prospects... just better than the "nothing" FLA would have gotten for non-tendering Lindstrom. This is a decent pickup for the 'Stros if they indeed didn't have to give up much, given Lindstrom's possible upside/sell-high potential.
