What positives have we seen that indicate this team could be better than .500?

 

I'm not trying to sound like a Debbie Downer but once again, the Brewers starting pitching is awful.

Yes, but yesterday the pitching wasn't even really the problem. Almost complete lack of offense combined with terrible defense sunk the game yesterday.

I'm not trying to sound like a Debbie Downer but once again, the Brewers starting pitching is awful.

The positives are that Davis, Wolf, and Gallardo are all pitching below their career averages/average of last 3 years. I'd much rather go by a larger sample size than a measly 2 or 3 starts. You cannot make a good judgment on only 2 or 3 starts.

 

Ex: Look at Carlos Lee and Mark Teixeira's stats. Do you think they're gonna hit like that all season, or trend towards at least the average?
