Like I said, I guess I don't know what it exactly means to look defeated, nor how it exactly contributes to losing in the first place. I can appreciate that fans don't like to see it, however.

There were plenty of defeated looking players on the TV last night. Those players had no chance of winning the game.

And I bet the Brewers looked like a team that knew they were going to win... because they were. Correlation, not causation.

I didn't notice the Brewers looking like anything. I'll take that every night please.

See, and I saw the fire in the Brewer's eyes last night. Mcgehee went up there sensing the fear in that pitcher's eyes and he took advantage of it. It was that kind of never-give-up attitude that propeled them to victory! Frankly, that had to have been Macha's doing.
