Oscar Taveras, hit .386/.444/.584 as a 19 year old in 91 games of A ball last year.

 

"Minor League Guy" deserves more respect than that. It's spring training for TV crews too I suppose.

This is similar, but also get a little annoyed when spring announcers can not pronounce our top prospects names.

 

One culprit of this is bill Schroeder. He often times sounds uncomfortable with the names unless BA just mentioned them. Overall I hunk ours are pretty good.

 

Watch a game on mlbnet and it's funny how a teams own announcers may know 1-2 prospects but the rest they don't have a clue.

 

I guess if I got paid to talk about baseball I would think I would want to sound educated when I spoke. In fact I don't get paid to talk about baseball and I put in way too much time ensuring I know what is going on...
