Are you saying pitchers who smoke don't have the makeup to be good pitchers? Weed isn't the problem. It's the decision making. Whether or not you think that smoking weed should be against the rules, it is. And you need to abide by the rules to be able to play a game for millions of dollars. Do we even know for sure that it was weed, or is this conjecture?

College stats don't directly correlate with pro stats. If they did, Rickie Weeks would have been a multiple MVP winner, which people still thought he would be when he was in the minors.

I remember this forum back when Rickie got drafted. So much optimism and hope for his future. His lightning quick wrists reminded some of Hank Aaron (!) It's a shame we never got to see the Rickie we all hoped we would.
