This inning is so typical for this year. A broken bat single, a flyball that should have been caught and a single back up through the middle that is perfectly placed, and here we go again.

Yes I did. Bill Veeck bought them when they were in St. Louis. He tried to move them back to Milwaukee. He had previously owned the minor league Milwaukee Brewers and knew we were a great baseball market. The other American League owners blocked him from moving so close to ChiSox territory. He finally decided to move the franchise to Baltimore and renamed them the Orioles.

It's amazing how we've been able to get Miller's pitch count up despite him POUNDING the strike zone. One the other side, Lohse has thrown 45 pitches or so through 4.

I know it is early, but I'm doing a 360 on the Lohse signing. If he can continue to be an efficient and pound the strike zone pitcher with a sub 4.00 ERA, I'm 100% behind it. I'm so tired of the nibbling ways of Yo and others that this feels so much more enjoyable to watch. Now, if we could just get someone other than Yuni in there, I'd actually get a little more behind this team. Yuni's throw to first and then terrible AB one a tiring pitcher is just so frustrating.
