  1. Not sure if this is the correct place to put this but. Incase you were curious on what WAR to trust more. Baseball reference or Fangraphs. I give you bWAR ERA Miz - 1.47 Sanchez - 2.62 ERA+ Miz - 290 Sanchez - 173 Strikeouts Miz - 156 Sanchez - 137 WHIP Miz - 0.779 Sanchez - 1.163 FIP Miz - 1.97 Sanchez - 2.67 bWAR Sanchez - 4.9 Miz - 4.2
  2. Cooper Pratt is already ranked 6th according to fielding bible with 4 DRS. Cooper Pratt currently already has a 0.5 bWAR in 10 games. Over a 162 game season that’s a 8.1 bWAR pace. Very very small sample size but so far Cooper Pratt is awesome. (My 7th month old is named Cooper, so I might be a little biased of course 😉)
  3. I know it’s getaway day and it’s the Brewers offense. But 4 hits and 1 run so far against Kyle Freeland who came into today with an ERA of 7.76 is kind of depressing
  4. Doesn’t Chourio have a lot of success when he swings first pitch? He’s 2-2 today
  5. The Brewers 7-8-9 hitters came into today with a total of 15 extra base hits. Rengifo of course doubles. Blake Perkins BA is down to .088 after that ground out.
  6. Uribe probably heard sh** from the cardinals dugout and he responded. Was it little over the top? Maybe? But are you a pitcher in that situation with emotions running? No. Anyone that is a Brewer fan acting all appalled by what he did.. you’re soft.
  7. We are so much better than this team. And it’s so fun.
  8. Brewers going to go 43 for 43 on having a different line up?
  9. Garrett Mitchell currently has a OPS of .975 yet when I read this thread I would think he was awful.
  10. Both games on brewers.tv game 1 also available on FS1 it appears. I hope he makes me regret saying this and I hope I’m not the first person to complain about the line up but Rengifo batting 2nd again is starting to annoy me
  11. Pete Crow-Armstrong in the month of August is currently slashing .165/.215/.237/.452 Good thing he plays defense in such a hard park to play defense like Wrigley field (this was a joke btw, anyone can play defense in CF in wrigley) because I’m pretty sure his bWAR and fWAR has gone up this month. His OPS since June 1st is .730. His current OBP overall is .291. Against LHP this year he is slashing 189 .219 .390 .609 He currently leads the NL in WAR. As someone who uses WAR and enjoys WAR what a terrible look for this stat.
