Most people turn another maturity corner in their late twenties, including many athletes. I don't know if Jeffress' issues are maturity related, but they certainly sound like it. If things come together for him, he still has the physical tools to become a very serviceable player and I think this is a great move.

Agreed. Davis gets a lot of love from the Fantasy Baseball community, but in real baseball he is an average player.

I'm sorry, we're 12-5 with the best record in the MLB after having played a schedule that included only 3 of 17 games against non-playoff teams. This is a franchise with a barren farm system, a mid-tier payroll and is coming off one of the most tumultuous seasons in its history. Enjoy this. Yeah, it was a bizarre and frustrating game, but we won. We're tops in the league. We won't finish this way, but enjoy this. RR makes stupid moves a lot. So do many managers. The guy really gets a lot out of a mediocre lineup. The errors are awful and Jean's slump is frustrating, but WE HAVE THE BEST RECORD IN THE LEAGUE> ENJOY THIS!!!
