I feel like I have already watched this game about 20 times this year.

EDIT: Apparently I should just have edited my first post as I am the only one commenting on another train wreck of a game.

Classy of Gomez to tip his cap to Hicks for bringing a would-be HR back.

^ agreed, Gomez is a like-able guy, for sure.

Unrelated - Starting a Relief Pitcher when we have other options is just plain stupid.

This is frustration speaking, but I'm done with this crap...

EDIT - As Hicks just hits a HR.

Come on! Diamond is a guy who's given up 9,8,9hits in his last 3 starts. He's not good. Looking like one of those games we're facing a weak pitcher who's "On" tonight. If he pitches in to the 7th inning wow, I'd begin to wonder if the team is losing it.

Some bored observations on the month inspired by the feeling that we've all seen this before:

The Brewers have played (not counting tonight) 220 innings of baseball this month. They have held the lead at the end of only 53 complete innings. 34 of those 53 complete inning leads came in a total of 4 games (all wins).

In their 19 losses to date, the Crew never lead at the end of a complete inning in 14 of the 19 losses.

Following along on gameday as I listen to the T-Rats, at least Segura has 2 of Milwaukee's 3 hits. There's a positive.

The worst month in team history for wins was 4 back in 1970, their first month in existence (if you don't count the one year as the Seattle Pilots, which I have not checked). It's May 28th, and we're knocking on infamy's door.

Atta boy, Aram! Two runs are home!!

There we go! Something to cheer for. I anticipated having to wait awhile for ARam got back into it but he's been great since his return.

We need about 4 more Jean Seguras. Hell, call up Dr. Evil, I'd even take Mini Jeans at this point.

I'm glad I am almost done having to watch Yuni B refuse to walk on an almost daily basis. Instead of loading the bases, he hits into a double play to end the inning.

Our starting pitcher lasted five innings! The Brewers scored three runs in one inning! The bullpen hasn't even had to come in yet and the game is still tied! Let the good times roll! It's like we've already won Brian!!!!
