THIS. THIS. THIS. My number one issue with RRR. Most important game of the year (so far) and we waste Broxton. The absolute refusal to pitch a relief pitcher more than one inning (regardless of pitch count, effectiveness, etc.) has compounded over the season. If a pitcher comes in with an easy inning, LEAVE HIM IN. Don't roll the dice and bring in the "8th inning guy" or "the closer".

I can not comprehend how a team thinks throwing a lesser reliever in a tie game is smarter than throwing them in a game where you are up 1, 2, or even 3 runs.
