Marlon Byrd to Reds

[Matt Breen]

Byrd (and $4 million) go to Cincy, minor league pitcher Ben Lively heads to Philadelphia.

Seems like an under whelming return for Byrd. Lively, a 4th round pick in 2013, was ranked 8th on Cincy's top 20 prospects list by MLB.com. Perhaps more parts will be announced.

Edited to show the amount of money Philly is sending to Cincy)

A 37 year old with potentially 1 year left. Sounds about right.
