I feel like our lack of having a quality tight end might be part of the reason why our offense hasn’t been as consistent as in years past as well. Finley had his drop issues, but he was a legit threat and brought some speed. What we’ve had the last few years at the tight end position just won’t get it done. The poor wide receiving core (depth wise) doesn’t help at all either, but when the defense doesn’t need to worry about a tight end stretching the field, and in our case, defenses could use their nose tackle to keep up with our tight end, it certainly doesn’t help the wide receiving core either. The safeties don’t need to worry about a tight end getting loose over the middle and can cheat over to help on guys like Adams and Lazard.

And yes I know that Graham has his catches and looks productive stats wise. But he sure doesn’t draw the attention or have that home run threat to keep defenses honest either. I think it’s more of a defender not picking him up and him getting open looks once in a while from not being covered well or much at all.

The wide receiving core and tight end position need to be a big focus this offseason.

You're right on the edge of FG range and you take a 5 yard too many men penalty. Unfreaking believable. This offense continues to stall out every time they get on the edge of FG range. And Rodgers, who has zero deep ball at this point in his career, throws a horrible 3rd down pass behind the receiver.

Absolute joke of a start. Defense looks like they are playing touch football trying not to hurt themselves. Rodgers needs Favre to run on the field kick him in the nuts laugh in his face and tell him what a disgrace he's been at QB.

Dropped passes, inaccurate throws, penalties....all signs of a team that isn't ready to play. Maybe they'll turn it around, but I think MLF got caught up in the moment during the post game celebration on Monday giving the team Wednesday off. A two practice week isn't ideal when you're playing for a first round bye.

Superhuman Rodgers is becoming a ghost.

He's honestly just not that good anymore. You look at how good average QB play has become in the NFL and he's starting to look more like a middle of the pack guy. He protects the ball well and not much else. He's become terribly inaccurate on everything from checkdowns to deep balls. It's disturbing that he believes Minnesota was one of his better games of the season when he clearly for the most part wasn't great last week at all either and won the game on the back of elite defensive play and favorable field position all game.

Need a strong defensive series here. Gotta get the momentum back on their side.

More bad throw than stop, but got off the field without giving up any field position

The Saints are not putzing around with an inferior division rival. 14-0 already.

Dolphins are beating New England, so we’re not the only team with a slow start, lol.

Don't care about New England. Want to see us put together a quality, non sloppy game. Enough of the weekly ugliness.

In fairness to the Packers, the short week and holiday certainly don’t help.

It's amazing they blew that call. He was 6 inches out of bounds. Were they both looking at the ball and neither the toes and decided let replay fix it if they're wrong?
Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

The holiday is a valid point but the fact it was a short week makes giving the team an extra day off all the more inexcusable. I wonder how many other teams were given Christmas off.

You can beat the "shouldn't have been off on Christmas" thing to death if you want, but missing one day of practice isn't an excuse for this showing so far. They've just come out flat. Looks a lot like the San Diego game. Gotta pick things up quick, or they'll be in trouble.

It sounds like the extra day off was something the players asked for via their leadership committee. If you’re a manager and your direct reports ask for something that’s important to them, you’ve gotta do what you can to accommodate (provided they’ve been performing well). Professional relationships are built on trust.
